For food handlers and supervisors

EHAI PRIMARY CERTIFICATE IN FOOD SAFETY

This Programme is certified through the Environmental Health Officers Institute of Ireland and is designed for food handlers and supervisors serving food for public consumption.

The course content includes:

  • Introduction to Food Hygiene and Safety
  • Food contamination
  • Delivery and storage
  • Preparation ,cooking and serving
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Cleaning
  • Pest Control
  • Introduction to HACCP

Delegates on successful completion of the end of course exam will be awarded the Primary Certificate in Food Safety from the EHAI valid for 5 years.
A good working knowledge of English is required for this and all certified courses.
